American Idol

Ah - glorified Karaoke.

First off, lemme tell you - I love to Karaoke.

I think it is the best fun one can have sober.

Yo, it's hella-fun even when you booze it up too!

I have a few songs that I call my "usuals" when I sing karaoke.
"Sweet Child of Mine" (Guns N Roses)
"I Can't Make You Love me" (Bonnie Raitt)
"Something to Talk About" (Bonnie Raitt)
Notice a pattern yet?

Anyway. If you're down for karaoke night FR, lemme know I'll borrow
my dad's karaoke machine and we'll do it.

Back to American Idol. I am a fan. I admit it. I watched Season 1
pretty religiously, same w/Season 3. I couldn't get into Season 2,
cause let's face it - Ruben was BORING (talented, but BORING) and Clay
Aiken... HOLY SHIT don't get me started. He is SO damn annoying. I
am not a violent person by nature, but I really think if I were to
ever meet him I would want to smack him around and call him "My Little
Bitch".

Anyway, this season has been a bit of a disappointment. My favorite
(Jessica Sierra) has already been booted - so now I have to pick
another favorite. Which is not really very easy - cause none of the
others really stand out to me. The worst is this one guy who is (I
kid you not!) literally an exact replica of My Little Bitch. I mean,
spikey hair, contacts after the first 2 episodes, you name it!
Unfortunately, this guy sings even WORSE than Clay - and yet because
he's been marketed to all the teeny-boppers, he's still around.
Pisses the shit out of me.

*Side note: "Pisses the shit out of me"... a bit graphic, but I think
you understand my point.
So now I must decide who will get my vote.

Decisions. Decisions.

I'm pulling for one of the two long haired rock guys...don't care which, really, so long as rock represents!

Ah... Constantine and Bo....
I like Bo - I think he's got a lot of talent. And I am impressed w/Constantine, he definitely knows how to perform. I think either one of those guys would be a good American Idol. But I still think Anwar is my new favorite... by a hair.
