So how old is too old? What was the largest age difference between you and a significant other? Does age really matter?
I think the largest and most significant age difference I've ever had was when I was 19 and my boyfriend at the time was 26. At the time, that was a pretty big difference. But we were both in school (me undergrad, him graduate) and so it worked. For a while. But when it didn't work, boy was it BAD.
Then when I was 21 I dated a 27 year old. A better situation certainly, but as I was graduating, he was looking for a wife. Uh, no thanks.
Then I did the unthinkable. At 25, for about a month I dated a 21 year old. HOLY SHIT was that a mistake. I wish I could blame all of it on the age difference but there was more to it than that... but STILL, what the hell was I thinking?!?!
You know... now that I think about it... 25 was really a bad year for me. I should have known - damn porn shop.
So, my coworker - we call her J-Lo - is married to a man 46 years her senior!!! Uh, yeah. Hello Celine Dion! Course it doesn't hurt that he is a millionaire cardiac surgeon who still practices at the age of 78. YIKES!!!
Every time I think about it, I sort of vomit a little in my mouth. But ya know, love knows no boundaries.
Love is blind.
Age ain't nothing but a number.
Blah Blah Blah.
YO, I still think that's just nasty!
