Cute Shy Guy

Ah, yes, a phenomenon in and of itself.

A rare creature indeed.

The so-called "Cute, Shy Guy".

Very rarely can one be found in the wild, let alone in captivity, because, let's face it ladies and gentlemen, he is a truly rare and quickly endangered species.

But the search can be officially called off.

There is this guy - his name is Matt. He is one of the last "Cute, Shy Guys" out there. Well, so far as I've noticed. And he is a very regular volunteer at Habitat (bonus point). He works extremely hard and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty (another point).

I have to admit tho, I have one rather large issue w/him tho. And this is just a personal bias - but unfortunately, he's in the military. Now before you go and get upset with me... please don't take this the wrong way. I've just never had good karma w/military guys nor have most of my friends. But I also realize that I shouldn't just dump him in the "damaged goods" pile and walk away necessarily. At least not yet.

I mean, the bonus points listed above should and will be taken into consideration. Besides... he IS "Cute, Shy Guy". Which is his secret nickname amongst all the ladies I work with.

The more and more I talk to him, the more I realize that despite the military job, he does have a lot going for himself. He's got a stable income, established degree, a strong sense of faith,
and a killer smile.

Oh, who am I kidding?!?!

I must be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for all women and quickly become impregnated with this man's child, so as to carry on this very rare, yet very important gene - "Cute Shy Guy".

The big problem here is that w/shy guys, it's either a waiting game or I gotta make the first move.

We'll see what happens - I am not exactly the most patient of women.
