I am an automotive genius!
Here I shall list the amazing skills I have (self)acquired in the art of automotive engineering and repair:
- Pumping gas (not as easy as it sounds)
- Checking the air pressure in my tires (If the white sticky thingy doesn't stick out very far you need to put more air in your tires)
- Changing a flat tire (several keys steps - most important one, do not set your spare down on the ground without leaning it against something or else it WILL roll away)
- Checking my oil level (if your stick isn't very dirty, you MIGHT need more oil)
And my newest skill...
- Changing windshield wipers
Did you know they come in different sizes? AND that you have to measure BOTH of them, just in case your wipers aren't the same size. Which by the way is bullshit. I mean, is that some sick twisted game manufacturers come up with to screw the general public?!?!
Now I realize 30 minutes might be a little bit on the lengthy side to change just one wiper, but the second one only took me 10 minutes, so clearly I am improving my skills by uhm... 33%?
And of course, when in doubt w/regards to any of the above, I call Dad.
Anyway, so I am literally on my way to the accelerated program at ITT Tech. I mean, if this pesky Bachelor of Arts degree doesn't get it done, I'm all set to work at Goodyear. I mean, do any of THOSE guys have a degree in Sociology? I don't think so.
