I have updated and polished off the ol' ray-zoo-may! Did you know they want them sumbitches to be only one page long now? One page? What the hell kind of job am I going to get with one damn page.
I clearly need 3-4 pages to make a real statement.
Yes, in 5 years I've had 3 (real) jobs and I'm long-winded.
I KNOW that's gotta make an impression on SOMEONE.
Back when I graduated from college in "the year 2000" (oh Conan, you're so clever!), it was "okay" to be in the social service industry and have a 2-3 page resume. But apparently now, not so much. Well, fuck me than! I mean, I am not so good with dropping the GOOD things about my life. Like work and stuff - you know my "accomplishments", my "skills" if you will.
I have a couple more months tho, so I think I'll be okay.
I have sent some feelers/resumes out to places in H-town (not a big fan of Houston, but at least I know some cool peeps up in therrr), Dallas (eh, Dallas is ah-ight, I mean, I'm not sure it's for me, but what the hell it's not like it'll be for forever), NY/NJ area, and of course here in SA. Wish me luck - I think I might need it.
G'damn job market.

Dallas is big and it kinda sucks, but Fort Worth and Arlington are nice. If you're looking for a more laid-back downhome type of place.
Thanks for the tip. I have never been to Fort Worth before and my only Arlington experience was at Ranger Stadium.
I'm not really picky so much about the city, as I am picky about the job. Truth be told, the only reason I even considered Dallas is because my best friend lives there. Her name is Erin, do you know her? ;)
