NEW YORK NEW YORK!

I'm headed to the Big Apple PEOPLE!
WOOHOO!

I'm so excited, I'm so excited.... I'm so.... so scared! (10 Points if you can tell me where that's from!).

So, yeah. I'm stoked. I mean this is New York City. The city that never sleeps (or is that Vegas?).

Now, don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm from "the sticks" or something, but I've definitely never been to any place like NYC before. I've traveled a bit in my day - some of the more exciting places have been Seattle, Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, Nashville, and Peoria, Illinois - but I've never experienced a huge city like NYC.

I have all these plans for my visit. (Which coincidentally is through work, so I only have to pay for the 2 extra vacation days I'm planning on staying there. Making my visit a total of 6 days and 6 nights! Yes, that's right, be jealous!)

I'm going to go to a Yankees game.

I'm going to ride in a cab!

I plan on riding the subway.

I want to go to Queens to see black people and the Bronx to see Puerto Ricans... oh, and Brooklyn to see Italians.

I will stalk every bag lady I come across just to see one of the Olsen Twins.

I will hunt down Katie Holmes and tell her that even tho, yes, Tom Cruise circa "Top Gun" and "A Few Good Men" is still a hottie, that he's just too short for her, and yo - Scientology? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT!?!

I plan to take up Kabballah between now and then so I can get me a red ribbon for my wrist in order to "fit in".

I want to drink coffee at a small out-of-the way coffee shop and play flag football in Central Park.
Hook up w/strangely attractive men who say "How you doin'?" to me.

I could go on. But I won't. Right now.

Anyway, I have a month now to lose a few pounds before I get there. So I better go start that coke habit I've been wanting to try out. Talk to you later.
